We have seen Pat and Monique's blog and have decided to try making us one also. School is out and I'm back to the fun of roofing in 95+ degree tempertures. It's what tries to keep me out of trouble during the summer months.
Taking off to California the day school left out so I could get down early enough to register for the Fontana 1/2 marathon with Pat. Deadlines and Pat making them are usually the same day. A nice course but I think the elevation change was what really helped me. 1:49 min was my PB.
I really wanted to help out Monique with their children, getting back and forth to school. The other reason was to spoil the newest grandson ( 6th) now. He's already gotten some unique traits developed already. He's gotten his mother's number and Mo loves it. At least most of the time. Trying to figure what's best for him, sleeping or eating. Eating really conforts him. Trying to get him to do some things for his dad we had to feed him so he would fall asleep. A beautiful baby ( not prejudice) he's just cute, tall, has big hands and feet, and spoiled. Really can't help being spoiled. He even has the 6 yr. old neighbor comming over and holding him. JOrdan wakes him up in the mornings when she gets up just to hold him. Ember and Scott get their time in too but usually around some of their activities and of course as an excuse for them when they are to be in bed.
It was really a fun relaxing time to visit the Foley family and enjoy them on a 1 on 1. Maureen would have been down too but hasn't and vacation time left. I've already been told that next time I'm not going to go, only she gets to go.
